I've never gardened

My garden is looking pretty good right now (it can change though). My lettuce & spinach are not to far away from being ready to pick. I also have kolharabi, radishes (both red & white), onions, green beans, sweet corn, tomatoes and green peppers planted. As soon as the rain stops and I can get back into the garden I plan on planting zucchini, acorn squach, butternut squash and cucmbers.
We have been eating asparagus almost every other day from our patch and have had some rhubarb goodies too.

I too want to start gardening and needed to know to do it. The posts here gave me ways to do this thank you for this post.

I added a lot of free horse manure to the garden this spring as well as the sand that had been in the sand box to help loose then ground some and provide nutrients and moisture.
