I have a nice Stevia plant that is doing very well, but I am not sure what to do with it. Stevia is a very powerful sugar substitute and is so sweet you can hardly stand eating a leaf. Has anyone used this herb? Can it be used fresh, or must it be dried? Suggestions, recipes or ideas?

Cooked, I have never used Stevia plant that is fresh. I solely use Stevia in the packets that I get at the store. Have you searched on the Internet for ideas?
Yes, I have done a search, but I like to hear about personal success stories and favourites. Especially when I am trying something completely new to me.

Cooked, I can't wait for others who have used fresh Stevia to reply. I am curious as well. I love Stevia's health benefits and it would be a nice addition to DH's garden.
Thank you Brenda. I just read the article and it was very informative. I know I can make tea now! I might try it with my chocolate mint, I think it would be interesting.
