While us gardeners are drooling over the seed catalogs getting ready for spring planting has anyone else ever tried vertical gardening?
Great space saver-beds 2-3 feet wide as long as you want. Too long to post instructions here but google vertical gardening for ideas to make your own. Anything vining is a great candidate. Helps keep crops safe from critters and some insects and the fruits stay clean. Try it, you'll be hooked!
I have never heard of vertical gardening! I am going to have to look that up as I have a small yard and am always looking at new space saving ways to garden!

I grow things vertical.,, and this year Im doing some plants in the upside down way.. they are producing and it sure is easier then weeding and bending.

We are going to try a couple of upside planters this year.
We are also going to plant cucumbers along a chainlink fence and maybe small butternut squash.

When I lived up North I always used vertical gardening. I would raise the rows to make it easier for picking. Being able to walk thru the rows helped too. The ground always warmed up faster when I made rows. Looks so pretty to see rows of lettuce, and other vegetable.
Love watching my spaghetti squash vine spread down the side of the house.
