Thumbs up Used Coffee Grounds, what do you do with them?

I drink a lot of coffee and have lots of grounds to get rid of. I use a drip filter. When I make a new pot I take the old filter and grounds and dump them in an ice cream bucket. When the bucket is full I dig a couple of holes in the garden and bump them in. Cover it up and it dissapears. Coffee has nitrigen and ads organic material to your soil.
The worms love it.

What do you do with your grounds?

I have put the coffee grounds in my potted plants that I have in the house.
Also have put water in the grounds to make it more liquid and then pour that into the potted plants as I water them. Other wise the grounds just sits in the potted plants
same reason you do it on the outside.

use it to add to a other things that you might use to make a ( darn it I can't think of the word) but in the end you make fertizer out of it for your outdoor shrubs, trees, plants, etc.

I just got a mini rose bush for mothers day. Of course it may drown with this rain we are getting day after day after day. But, I will start saving my grounds for my little rose bush. Do you just scatter them at the base of it? I am also the owner of adorable pet fancy rats. I've heard of someone who saves their grounds to make a digging box for the poor ratties who in nature would be digging but can't indoors. Seems like it would be a big mess. I might try it once tho as I'm sure they would enjoy it a lot.
Question: Don't roses/plants also like crushed egg shells? I thot about saving those too.

Hi
I save my coffee grounds(& filter) along with veggie/fruit scraps in an old cottage cheese container. When it is full(at least once a week), I take it out to my compost pile & add it. I turn it now & then to break down the stuff. It makes great fertilizer for the garden!! I also add grass clippings, leaves, egg shells etc, too. A great way to recycle.

I don't know if Dunkin' Donuts gives away used grounds, but I saw that Starbucks does/did. You could ask them if it is only a certain time of the year or year round.
