I didn't have any mold. We recieved a lot of rain last spring but no mold on the plants. Some did drown. lol
You need to cut the bottles/jugs almost in half. Cut drainage holes in the bottom. Place soil in, plant the seeds, sprinkle soil on the seed, sprinkle water on top, tape and lable the jug. I put the jugs outside anywhere I could. Remember don't put the caps on!
This year I will make a 'winter sown station' in the basement. Keep the mess in the storage room.
I bought seeds on clearence last fall so I have a lot to plant.
