Green house Gardening

I was thinking when I get a house and we are planning on relocating to Idaho............ that the things we can grow here in California like citrus trees for example, might not be easily grown there. I was thinking a green house might solve this problem?

I might not know much about greenhouses, but I do know
that the warmer temperature in the greenhouse could possibly
allow the citrus trees to grow effortlessly in the similar heat and
moisture. Like I said, I have no idea if they will become accustomed to this or not. There is a pretty good chance of the trees surviving,I think.

I know a few people here in Idaho who have dwarf citrus trees. They keep them in large pots and bring them indoors during the winter months.

If you are moving to the southwest corner of Idaho you will be living in the 'banana belt' of Idaho. Citrus trees would have a better chance of survival here than elsewhere in the state.

good luck with your move.
