Spicy Deer Steaks 2 lbs. deer tenderloins, sliced thinly Garlic powder, creole seasoning, sprinkled on meat to your taste 3 eggs beaten 2 cups flour, salt and pepper to taste Oil for frying Pound the deer steaks to make tender. season well with garlic and creole spice. Dip the steaks in the eggs to cover completely, then shake around in flour, salt and pepper mixture. Heat oil until very hot in a skillet, drop steaks into hot oil and fry until browned. Steaks will cook very fast, so be easy not to overcook. We serve them with sauteed onions, and a brown gravy poured over them. |
