Since spring begins again this week - what are some things you do every spring? Spring clean your house? Eat certain foods that signify spring - fiddleheads, dandelion greens, asparagus? Start seeds to plant? Go kite flying?

except for wearing less "wintry" clothes I guess I don't really do anything..I "spring clean" on a daily basis...don't plant a garden anymore, but do do a lot of weeding flower beds, etc...seems like all at once the weeds are "springing" up...may eat more salads and less hot foods...hmmm that's all I can think of...

What are fiddleheads?
I don't think that I do much of anything except wash and pack away the heavy blankets on our beds and wash and pack away the winter clothes in exchange for the lighter stuff.
I haven't been spring cleaning for a few years because I have been "moving" cleaning instead. Yep, staying with tradition, I am getting ready to move again.
Sounds funny but I can't wait to lighten up our food too. I am deperately wanting some good, fresh vegetables and fruit!
I give my car a thorough cleaning, and take down all my curtains and wash and hang them on the line. I start hanging laundry on the line to dry. And as a family, we give our yard a good "spring cleanin":raking, picking up trash that has blown over from neighbors, and we go thru the outside toys and discard or fix as needed.
Typically, I like to give the house a good spring cleaning, especially cleaning the shutters and the windows.
We also like to BBQ and make homemade icecream. Being right across the street form a park, we buy a lot of popsicles form the LA Rosa cart!
Our town has spring/summer concerts on Thursday nights that we enjoy going to!
Well I usuly clean the house and throw out the things I dont want any more but Sweet-pea is going to help me with a yard sale and plant all the vegitable and flower garden. My Easter Lillys are starting to grow. lol

I Spring house clean all year!! In the Spring I like to plan what activities are going to be for the Summer months. Also I plan out my flower garden and small vegetable garden. Get all my deck things out and cleaned. Also I shop for new bird baths and flower pots, for the front and back yard deck.
I usually do a good deep cleaning through the house, have the carpets cleaned and take down the darker and heavier fall/winter accessories. Windows get washed, heavy bedding gets packed away and the gardens get cleaned, fresh mulch gets put down where needed and garden and gazabo decorations get put out. In May, the flower boxes will be planted and the outside furniture will be put into place.
Spring is here my traditional things are clean my house(shampoo carpet, wash wall & windows), my children and I go for a ride out in country to look at all the spring baby farm animals, we also go to parks and walk nature trails.
