Winter comforts

Often on Friday night's in the winter, my dks and I will make popcorn, get some drinks and go up to my bedroom and lay on my bed to watch tv or a video. I burn scented candles and we have a good time together. Also in winter it is always fun to go out and play in the snow then come in to warm up with dry clothes, hot cocoa and a good game or book.

I just had to respond to your email, you sound so friendly and down to earth. I like winter because there is something more cozy about staying warm than turning on the central air, lol. My ex husband and I had several wood stoves and they put a different kind of heat out, it seems warmer. I also crochet and do several other crafts too. I am going to learn to do counted crosstitch soon and I even bought a new sewing machine and some material in hopes to learn how to quilt. What I would really like to do is hand sew one, I think that would be awesome. I live in Southwest Missouri.Lets be friends. I have been crocheting in my room which is where the wood stove is.
I love coffee but usually want something sweet like doughnuts and it all goes to my deriair.. (did I spell that right?) :P

Winter comforts to me are my fuzzy slippers and fuzzy robe. .....Baking anthing new and yummy....Dark hot chocolate with marshmallows......A bowl of homemade chicken soup or a nice bowl of Chili....Cuddling with dh.....

I drink a lot more hot drinks in the winter (teas, cocoa, coffee etc.). There is nothing better than being inside a warm house on a cold, windy, snowy night listening to the wind howl and knowing my family is together safe and warm.
