"Sugar Pie, Honey Bunch, you know that I LOVE you!!!!!!!!! "
(Are you singing??!!)
That's "our" song!!
Mark and I danced to that song several times when we were dating and so , even today, when we hear that song we dance!!!!
I am not a good dancer but I have learned by watching others that is it more important to dance and have a good time then sit and watch!!!!
I watched others have fun for Tooooo long!
Donna, that is a great attitude!!! I used to be so self conscious but now I figure it is much better to have fun than to care what people think. Of course this totally embarrasses my children but then, that is fun too!

You know, every summer we go to these outdoor concerts. Lots of people get up and dance and I would watch.......summer after summer...........
This past summer Mark and I danced! We don't dance well AT ALL but we didn't care!!!
It felt good to get out there and have a good time!
Next summer I plan on dancing!!!!!
I love your attitude!!! I am probably a total embarrassment to my kids and friends now. Yup, I scream loudly in the theater at horror movies (can't help myself - I actually get scared), I "chair dance" in the car at stop lights if a good song is on the radio (makes my dks hide under the seat), I scream when sliding down hill on a sled if I get going really fast (yup, I still love to go sledding) and I sing loudly to whatever the song is on the radio when I can't sing a note on key. I bet I give people a lot to talk about LOL

"Right Here Waiting" By: Richard Marx. I've known Michael since August 1988, and we've been married since January 1991 (yes it was played for our wedding dance song, per our request). It seemed we were not only destined to be together, but that "Right Here Waiting" was to be our song. As I mentioned we've known each other a long time, and I can't even say that we ever really dated... I was promised to someone else when we met, and he had just been removed from a relationship with someone else. It was not easy for us to even be friends given the circumstances that brought us together, yet every time we needed a friend to listen to our ups/downs we would seek the other out, and it seemed "Right Here Waiting" was always being played on the radio during these times. Shortly after we were married, Dessert Storm occurred and Mike wanted to go. I was scared but I told him if he wanted to go I'd waiting right here for him always (he did not go due to military physical requirement changes). Then I had to have an emergency surgery on my gallbladder (I knew he hated hospitals)... He was required to work the same day as I was to have my surgery done (bless his mom for being with me just before surgery, in post recovery room, and in my room), but when I awoke in my room he was there beside me whispering "Right here waiting." That soon became our message of love, support, and comfort in a lot of our ups and downs. It is sort of like a reminder that we can not and will not give up on the other person regardless of what life throws at us. And after nearly 18 years we've conquered quite a few things and are still kickin' life back while we are "Waiting Right Here" for each other.

I agree that is a great Attitude!
My parents made sure I knew how to dance from the moment I could stand on my own (at least that's how far back my memories go) - unfortunately I was being taught how to "lead," the upside to that is every single guy I ever dated (and the one I married) did not and/or does not dance. ;-)

I love your attitude too! I've given up caring what other people think when I am in my car or at home... I try to be a little more respectful when I am in public so not to crowd someone else space and still enjoy my little space of happiness

No particular 'our' song but once when we were dating we had a rare argument and the song dh thought of first was, "if you leave me can I come to?" That song always makes us think of where and what happened ... no idea what the to-do was about now but we remember it was at the drive in LOL.
We have question time about songs, like who sings this one, do you remember .... ?
