Right now I'm missing my sweet dh while he is in the hospital
I also missed not having him at home on Christmas day
I miss our pot belly pig that past away a few yrs ago.. so does the oldest gd for she remembers that pet pig super well.
I miss a good friend that our relationship went rocky due to her selfishness and couldn't understand why I couldn't drop everything to come to see her when my dh was sick.
I at times miss not being in scouts like I used to be

What I thought of when I saw the title to this thread is that I miss playing jacks on the kitchen floor with my friends. Something we did for hours on end up to the age of 14 even, boys and girls included.

I miss that too ellenmelon. I remember playing jacks with my brother and cousin as well as with the children at school and playing jump rope.
We bought an exercise trampoline to be used in the house. I have to take turns with my children. LOL.
I was hoping this thread would be a place people could share about their childhood memories.
I miss my dog Jet-Bo more than anything. We snuggled every waking moment that we could and I miss all his devotion and affection.
I remember the jacks. My DGD asked me yesterday what jacks were because she saw them on television. I wish I knew where to get the type they used to have instead of those large difficult to grab type they have now. I would LOVE to show her how to play ball and jacks.
