2 quarts. unsweetened applesauce
1 qt. sugar
1/4 cup vinegar
2 tbsp. cinnamon (more if desired)
Put above mixed ingredients in a crockpot. Cover with 3 paper towels (no lid), set on low and cook for 8 hours. Put in plastic containers and freeze until ready to use.
1 cup apple juice
8 cup applesauce
4-5 cup sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. allspice
Combine all. Pour in crock pot. Cook 5 hours on low with lid on.
6-8 hours on high with lid off. Put in containers and freeze.
EASY CRAN - APPLE BUTTER
16 oz. can jellied cranberry sauce
15 oz. jar unsweetened applesauce
1 tbsp. margarine or butter
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/8 tsp. allspice
In medium saucepan, combine cranberry sauce and applesauce. Cook over medium heat until cranberry sauce melts. Add remaining ingredients, blend well. Pour into 4 clean 8 ounce jars or moisture proof freezer containers. Cover and screw lids on firmly, let stand until cool. Stores in refrigerator up to 3 weeks or freeze for 3 months.
