Peach and Blueberry Crisp
4 ripe peaches(peeled & cut into 1/2" slices) or close to it, I didn't measureLOL
2 Cups ripe blueberries(washed)
2 Tablespoons lemon juice
1 Tablespoon flour or cornstarch
1/3 Cup sugar
Heat oven to 350*F
Mix these ingredients together in a large bowl and set aside.
Topping
2/3 Cup flour(plain) or omit salt if self-rising
1/2 Cup old-fashioned oats(I was out of old-fashioned today so I used quick cooking)
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
3/4 Cup brown sugar
5 Tablespoons cold butter or margarine, cut into small pieces
Whipped cream for serving, if desired.
In a small bowl, stir flour, oats, cinnamon, salt, and nutmeg. Add brown sugar; stir. Add butter and mix in by hand, mashing butter pieces to form crumbs.
Spread peach-blueberry mixture into a 3 quart or 9"X13" dish and sprinkle oat mixture on top.
Bake at 350*F for 45 minutes or until golden brown. Remove to wire rack to cool slightly. Serve with whipped cream, if desired.
Note: You can use frozen peaches when fresh are not available.

I got this recipe from Family Circle and it is delicious. I didn't serve any whipped cream with ours and it tasted great!
