Great thrift store finds

What are some great buys you have found recently at Thrift stores?

I just found the prettiest Easter dress at Goodwill! It is a soft yellow floral, mid calf length. I also found a pretty pair of tan sandals and a tan colored small purse to match!!!

hugs, train

You are both so lucky! I make the rounds on Fridays, when I stay in town during my lunch hour. Not very lucky this month, but treasure hunting is a lot of fun!

Today is tax free day here and I was able to find 4 nylon night gowns and a winter zip up bathrobe for my mom all for only $6.00. It's hard to find the nylon nightgowns and that is what she likes.

Tax free weekend here, too! Didn't hit any thrift stores today, just school supplies. I want to go thrifting tomorrow.

Although I didn't have the money to buy it and it was gone when I went back - an olipical tredmill for close to $200. and they usually sell for thousands. Yes it was in good working condition.

Over the weekend, at GoodWill, I bought a two layer shoe rack for my dd's closet for 99 cents + one of those closet hanging organizers that has 10 shelves in it for $2.99. It's a heavy duty one in great condition. We've stores her soccer stuff, baby dolls and shoes in it. Now if I could only come up with something to easily organize her hair stuff without taking up too much space.

She also got a pair of flip flops that are awesome and made in Italy for 99 cents and a dress that she can wear for Christmas for $2.50.

My son found a pair of shorts from American Eagle for himself and my dh got a button down shirt.

The only "thing" that I got was wooden heart that I'm going to paint/decoupage to use in my dining room.

I need to make a trip back there to see if I can pick up some 3 ring binders for cheap - I'm in the process of sorting through a ton of old magazines and sorting them into recipes, beauty, decorating, crafts...etc. Then I will fille them into binders.

When I first got married 11 years ago I found a great TV stand.
When I was pregnant I found a Rocking Chair for those long nights ahead.
Now when I go, I mostly lok for craft stuffs my girls can use. This past November, For my youngest 7th B-Day she had a TEA PARTY. I found straw hats and flowers and trimings enough for 14 and it all cost me $10 and a 14 cup tea cup complete set and cookie cutters for an additional $10 ( My limit at the thrift store is $20 unless it is a BIG, MUST HAVE item I just cant leave without and they won't bud on the price) lol
