Kathy, I hope you're not coming down with that bug that's going around!
I'm intrigued reading about making noodles, that sounds like something the girls and I are going to have to try!
Patrice, prayer sent up that the inspection clears and you both can move ASAP!
Connie, I hope you hear something soon too, prayers sent up as well!
After Rachel got off school we went to get her passport taken care of, that was a quick $100 plus $1.10 for the money order, sheesh! On the way home from there we stopped and got her small check, took her home then went to pick up my friend that lost his license because of the drinking...he's putting in his community service, on the way dropping him off at home he put $10 worth of gas in my car. After I dropped him off at his house I came home and made breakfast for supper, bacon and waffles! I hadn't made waffles in a long time and you know, they really did hit the spot! Most of the mess is cleaned, will finish in a few minutes.
Will be lurking, may not be back on tonight, ya never know!
Hugs,
Lisa

Hello Ladies -- you all have been busy as usual...
Norma and Jamie: When I was "pretending" to learn how to knit, I made a 5 inch by 2 inch potholder-type-thing and ended up ripping it all out and decided, I just was going to have to show me how to knit. The book I bought was just not doing it. I have crocheted and ripped out things as well, but nothing tried my patience like knitting...
Chris: Glad you're feeling better -- being sick is no fun at all.
Lisa: Mental health days are the very reason I'm not a blithering idiot today.
I made homemade queso tonight and added "hot" sausage to it as well as a jalapeno, green chilies, Rotel... ouch! Very tasty, but ouch!
I think someone should drive to Jean's house and check on her. Really.
I make my noodles, but I just roll them out and use my pizza cutter. I have a small rolling pin my mother gave me that has 5 ridges on it, so it cuts as you roll. I love it, but sometimes the pizza cutter is more convenient.
Frugal: Nothing really exciting. Just made my lunch for work and breakfast to take to work. All meals from home. Sometimes, I feel like my life is so boring...
Well, need to clean up my mess and get ready to walk for the evening.
Wow that sounds like a cool rolling pin, I've never seen one of those.
I don't have Jean's contact info. either... I really hope everything went well with her surgery and I guess we should all give our contact info. to at least one other member on here for just this reason. I know LoriMae has mine, I have hers and I think Boggz, Jamie and I know Barbzy and all the other moderators have access to my info. so ladies, if you would pass on your phone number to another member on here that you trust. Not required by any means but it would sure make the rest of us feel better.
I just had a thought... Amanda may have her email address on file, I'll have to check with her or Tammy. All our FC post would go there but no one could reply with out her password.

Add me to the list concerned about Jean and Nikki, I’m keeping them on my prayer list. Not much going on here, dh had to go to the dentist a very un frugal trip as he has to have anew crown put in and not sure about the one next to it. So I said Merry Christmas, Happy Birthday and Happy Anniversary. He laughed but what can you do but rework the budget

The insurance part is offical, dd will be covered!! Without being in college full time! This is the new insurance. It will take effect the day dh starts work.
This insurance will cost more but they do have a health savings plan too but this insurance company is so much easier to work with. Less stress. Yep rework the budget. Like dd said tonight, God will make it work out for us.
I am very thankful for all the wonderful women I have met on FC! I love you all very much. I treasure our time together on the internet.

I feel the same about Jean and Nikki. Jean is such a thoughtful soul for everybody elses's problems. Hopefully someone will be able to be in touch with her or her family, so that we all can be relieved that she is doing okay. My youngers sister by 8 years, has leukemia, and on Nov. l6 she has to have her very enlarged spleen removed. A huge worry for me. She has never had surgery since she was l9 and had her tonsils removed. Putting her on your prayer lists would sure help. Her name is Lynne. Frugal was left over pork tenderloin, cabbage and potatoes and onions fried, yum.

Missibob, Lynne has been added, as well as all of you.
Hugs,
Lisa
