Good evening all.
PATRICE - so sorry about Leah's dad. Hope he realizes how this will impact her.

JEAN - hope they find your dh's problem quickly. With all you guys have been thru, it would be understandable if he had an ulcer. You make sure you get lots of rest.

HAPPY SHOPPING to all those going this weekend!!!!!!!!!! (I'm glad it's you and not me!!)

FRUGAL today - dropped of paper recycle, dropped off magazines to nursing home, and p/u dh's meds. Stopped at WM and got a loaf of bread and pack of buns - nothing else!!
Put up the poinsetta wreaths on front and side doors. Cleaned the open shelf of corner hutch (it's my catch all). Now everything has a home! Put out the holiday runner on dr table. Also got out my "log cabin". It's about 18 x 18 x 12 with fiber optic lights in it. Old cabin with trees and a couple snowmen. We have used that instead of tree since getting Pooty. It doesn't really look Christmas - just wintery. Also cleaned the top of frig and put a new mat on top.
Got the turkey and ham out of freezer for thawing.
All meals from home.
So basically, I have been piddling around!
I am hoping not to leave the house ANY between now and T-Day.
It was chilly today - but the SUN WAS OUT!! WOOHOO

Hope you all have a lovely weekend.

OK - I'm going to try a btb again. Lost the last one.

They said on news last night that what canned pumpkin is in the stores is all there will be till fall harvest 2010. Due to excess rain, the crop was small. I checked what I have in pantry, and it's dated 2012. So it lasts a while. You might to STOCK UP NOW for future holidays.
I have plenty of oj on hand thank goodness.

My wonderful neighbor took me back to the doctor again today. It is not pneomia, just inflamation in the lungs. I can not remember the last time I was so sick... west nile maybe. I am using a different cough meds and I think it is working! Maybe I can sleep tonight.

Gals from the sounds of things I think I have a new husband. He is so happy with this job!! Mr Put Off Everything Until Tomorrow talked to the realtor about getting in and cleaning the house, vacuuming etc....... before the kids and I get down there. Wow..... He laughs all the time....... this is amazing.

Does anyone know anything about personal title liens?

Black Friday Ads.
There is even a place in there where you can download the actual add and look at it.
Good idea to make a list of what you are looking for. Check out this site to get all your free shipping and percent off codes for your favorite store.
If you are going to the stores try price matching. Not all stores price match but many will during the holidayseason.

Good news on the new hubby, Bluebird, LOL.
Glad you don't have pneumonia, and that your meds work well.
Does anything ever go smoothly? The installer came to put in our new internet service, and took a look and said we needed an adapter in order for him to do it, since our phone jack is too far away from the computer, and we can't move it any closer. So, we had to reschedule him for Mon. morning, and dh went out and bought the adapter $62.10!!! later, I almost fainted. Dh says we might as well do it properly, that is his answer to everything these days. Also, the free pizza we got for dinner, had the wrong toppings on it!! Good grief.
Oh well, hopefully we got the right adapter now, will know on Mond.
Appt. tomorrow for consultation, yuck.

Good afternoon all!!

Obviously you all are sleeping in.

I have put 3 loads of laundry through their paces, gone grocery shopping, and even taken the car in for emergency headlight installation. As I was pulling out of the driveway I realized I had no jewelry on. No makeup is fine with me, but I won't go without jewelry. So i put the double flashers on and went back in. As I passed the front of the car I noticed I had a headlight out. So as soon as I got back from the market, I called and they said bring it right in. And I went to Sam's Club which is just across the street from the dealership. I called my sister who asked me to bring her a chicken and I only needed lemon juice and egg beaters. It was a cheap trip.

In a little while I need to shower and get ready for a pot luck at the church this evening. I am bringing glazed apples and cranberries, and an augratin potato casserole from Stouffers. So I am off.

Take care and have a great rest of Saturday.

Norma, I wish I got to sleep in this morning! Like you, I have been out and about. I've gotten three loads of laundry done, with several more to go. Every week I promise myself I'm not going to save it all for the weekend, but it always seems to turn out that way.

I went to the cosmetology school and had DD1 cut and color my hair and wax my eyebrows. With my family discount, it only came to $20. She was given an estimated graduation date of December 18. Woohoo! I can't wait to ship her out into the working world - lol!

I finally got a turkey yesterday at Target - 88
cents a lb. I was hoping to get a 16 or 17 lb. one but the biggest they had was 12 lbs. I guess it just wasn't my year for turkey!

My big plans for this weekend are doing laundry and some major paper decluttering. I really have let it pile up, and I am sick of looking at it.

Connie, I am so glad to hear that your dh is so happy. I wish you all the best of luck in your new life!

I got a paper mountain to tackle. Talk to you later.
