Question French Fries?

So often when eating out there are leftovers to bring home. The portions are sometimes large enough for me to eat another full meal. The one item that we do not get a to-go-box for is left over french fries. Does anyone have a way to use them? So in the future I can bring them home also?

I bring them home and when I am ready 2 eat them I put them on a baking sheet and bake at 350 until they get the crispiness I want. Sometimes they even taste better than they did when I first got them, LOL...

I have a bunch of outside country cats, so they get leftover fries. Birds would also enjoy them. I suppose you could put them in the freezer to add to you next "compost" soup. That is a soup that is made for all the bits of leftovers saved over time & tossed in the pot with other soup ingredients. When boiled with liquid they would turn to mush & thicken the soup (I think.)

With left over fries you can cut them up into small pieces and use them to make hash browns. You can add onions and peppers to it. Or you can use the onions, peppers and chopped fries in an omelette. If you're going to make home made hash, you can also use them.

Can't say I've ever had left overs, I don't order that many chips.

I also put them in the oven to recrisp them, but they're not always left overs-sometimes dh or my dd will bring home McDonalds and the fries just are not hot enough, for me, anymore nor are they very crispy; so I'll reheat and recrisp them in the oven for a bit.

Happy6 thats what I do with any leftover fries we have. USe them with peppers and onions like homefries.
I think they would be a good soup thickener too as someone mentioned.
Birds do eat fries. We found this out one year we went to the zoo. The free roaming pea****s kept coming close to use so we tossed a few fries to them, they loved 'em.
