Happy face

I've done several of these with lemon peels & also orange peels. I don't have too many recipes that call for the zest, but I have some in the freezer if I need it.

Hoarding (oops I mean saving ) anything for years on end so it can be sold for pittance is waste of time and space. My DH saved 20 oz. soda bottles for 6 yrs and only made $8.00. It takes up so much space and is just gross!

Lisa Berry,

Yep! I agree sounds a bit over the top. I suppose that would be called hoarding and not frugal.

Blessings,
Dawn

I suppose this might qualify as being frugal. We haven't paid for cable TV since early 2000.. and have never had a dish for TV. The money saved over the decade has paid for several very nice vacations. I may weaken soon and have basic cable installed. It's a LONG winter here in Maine.

You might check out which shows can be viewed off of websites before deciding to add that expense, Newdaawn.

NewDaawn, I watch tv shows on my computer all the time (even though we have cable) because it allows me to watch them at my convenience so Roberta's idea could be useful.
