Trying to find free money

I walk with my dogs everyday and always find change and see empty beer bottles. So i decided to collect everything i see as free money and try to make 100.00 by the end of the summer. I will then invest it in a mutual fund to see how much money i can make off of the free money i find. I find it a win win situation. I can lose weight, make money, and clean the enviroment. It is just a little challenge to make my walks a little more interesting.

Sounds like a good plan... you must live in a area that pays for bottles.

What a neat idea! My husband is always coming home from work with some change in his pocket (mostly pennies) where men have thrown it down in the lunchroom because they didnt want to be bothered with it. They throw it on the floor as though they are too good for this change. He picks it up and throws it in a bucket here at home.

I was told at the end of the evening that the change under a bar is pretty good. Look at luncheon counters too. We don't get paid for bottles either. Good that you do!

Beer bottles and cans in Canada are worth 10 cents each. So far i have made $6.94. $93.06 left to go.

I have not been able to find much free money lately but the weather has been terrible. I was thinking of putting my money when i reach $20.00 into a ING account because they pay high interest. Right now i am at $ 19.00

We have started a penny jar. It would've been just a "change" jar but my DH takes all of the silver for work.
