Who is your most trusted confidant?
Is it your spouse, your best friend, your mom, sister...or other?

it got to be my husband, my best friend he is indeed.
He knows more deeped seeded things than any other person, and how to handle me than any one else does

when I can't share with him, I feel like I am a lost puppie without no home. Sharing with him even when I am down can bring joy to me.

I can share and know it goes no where but within him.

without him would be very sad day in my life.

I thank GOD that HE put my dh in my life.

DH can get things out of me that bothering me better than any one too.

My husband is my confidant. I can tell him anything and everything, and he supports me when necessary, or just listens to me blow off steam. I couldn't fathom not being married to my very best friend...

OK gals, I'm going to be the anomaly here...

I love my DH to pieces...we've been married 19-1/2 years and have a wonderful relationship. BUT, he is not my best friend. He's my rock, my shelter, my comfort, my lover. If you want to say we're friends, then fine.

However, I consider my gal pals as more of my "best friends" and confidantes. I can dish with them about anyone and anything and they listen. They support me. There's something about talking to a girlfriend where they just "get it". Men are a different species; sometimes they just don't quite understand. Especially when I'm going through my "horror-moans" (hormones) and I'm weepy and crabby and bloated and tired and I want to do nothing but lie on the couch and watch Bridges of Madison County and eat a quart of Ben & Jerry's Phish Food ice cream.

My confidant? God.

He always listens whenever I want to talk, He never repeats what I have shared or discusses it with others, He never judges me no matter what I am sharing, He values me for who I am just as I am, and more often than not, He will show me a way out of the worst messes I have created.

My husband....... I can tell anything to and usually do.

I have a girlfriend (known for 24yrs or since I was a 13yro) and we tell each other everything, right down to the nitty gritty on all the good, the bad, and ugly events in our lives.

I have to agree with all of you in certain ways!

God is my #1 all time confidant .... period!

I have one friend that I have a very special relationship with. We laugh together, cry together...we are like sisters. We do NOT cut our husbands down....we do have lengthy discussions about motherhood!

And I do feel that Memin ( my hubby) is my bestfriend. I find strength in him and look to him in so many ways!

I am truely blessed in so many ways!

My 1st confidant is God, of course. He is always there, being supportive, comforting and is able to fill me with peace. My 2nd ones are my husband about some things & my older sister Karen the other things....The reason being, I do tell my husband EVERYTHING but Karen just seems to understand some "woman" things better than my husband.....Then there is my younger sister, Julie & one of my best friends, Peggy.......I have so many wonderful supportive friends that are always there for me, if/when I need them.

My best friend is my younger sister. She and I went thru thick and thin and came out being soul mates. She can understand what my feelings would be to any given situation and vice versa.

But my sister lives very far from me and so we keep in touch thru phone calls. I am waiting for her to move closer real soon

I love my husband and he loves me dearly too.

I do tell him every thing but the reaction and understanding is not the same. He has a very man's perspective to every thing

Growing up my mom and I couldn't see wye to eye on any thing but now we sort of grew into these nice friends that it really feels nice

So is the case with my dad actually!
I have a very close girl friend and we share every thing and we even seem to be in synch about every thing. She and I work in the same field, our kids are of the same ages, we live in the same neighborhood!
I can definitely say I am truly blessed!
