Maybe PM's ought to be done away with so people don't "GET CATTY" behind the scenes!

Question Catty???

Abear, I know the thread you are referring to and there was only one fake I know of on there. There was a few ,too sensitive , that took offence too easily.

But we did make some friends on that board. That, we ought to be grateful for. ;-)

I've visited many boards that had just the nicest people on them! I love FC. I'll visit other boards here also! Petunia, don't be discouraged, FC has many, many gracious people here!

Just to be clear, I never said anyone was "fake" or that anyone was too sensitive. Those are your words.

In fact, I have never found anyone here at Family Corner to be a fake. I believe everyone to be who/what they say.

I have made many friends here at Family Corner and hope to make many more. I don't believe a person can ever limit out on friendships....whether they are on-line, long distance friendships or the friendship you have with your next door neighbor.

I believe on-line friendships can be just as strong as in-person ones.

No one used to question a friendship with a pen-pal. There are people that have been pan-pals with someone since grade school and they continue that friendship into their later years even if they never meet.

What we have here is, I believe, a lot better and stronger than pen pals. Wouldn't most of y'all agree???

I just LOVE Family Corner!!

Abear, I never said you said anyone was a fake." I " alone said that. IT wasn't you I ment, it was someone else. When some one is too perfect, too knowledgable on all topics, one has to wonder about the truthfulness. I refuse to debate this topic any further. I wish you the best.

Ooh my gosh, I have made so many great friends at familycorner! I have to check in with the girls several times a day! I'm starting to talk about some of you like you live next door. This is such a great place to come for advice, or to vent, or to just share! I don't know what I'd do without all my friends at familycorner!

Yes I think online friendships are real friendships. When I first signed up for FC I just posted once or twice then did not for quite a while. Now that I started again I talk and join in on several threads. I too have to check in daily, if I can, to see what is happening with so and so and how their family is doing. You can learn a lot and somebody is there to lend a sympathetic ear.

Petunia, I will echo what Abear said and come over to the Hatching egg site or the Flowering basket site under Chit Chat and you will get to know some of us.
