Family Corner Get Together

I've noticed on a lot of different threads the want and or need for a group get together. A few of us were discussing meeting in Summer 2005 at a place pretty central to most of us, or if there is an overwhelming desire for someplace else, meeting there.

I've worked as a travel agent and have planned group trips in the past. I'm willing to do some leg work to see about setting this up. What a great way to meet all of our Family Corner cousins!

My question is..........
Do you want to join us and is there any place you'd like to get together?

I am really excited aobut the prospect of such a trip! I hope there is enough interest in this and that AMANDA will see the hint for a pin for FC members to wear.

As moderator too though I must mention that ANY planning is outside the scope of Family Corner and the owner and all moderators are exempt frome liabilty for this trip.

Lets go folks! VOTE for a trip then tell Sharon where you'd like to go!

Just so you know--I've PM'd Amanda about the possible plans and to ask her about designing a pin. Even if for some reason this trip didn't work out we'd still all love to have a pin.

My heart felt thanks to Sharon by the way for volunteering for such a huge undertaking. I'm here, ready, willing and able any time you need help!

I'm baaaack--Amanda is QUICK. She loves the idea of the get together and will be delighted to design a pin! I'd also like to toss out an idea for location per Amanda---what better place than her store? After all she IS the Family Corner Mom!

Just a thought to consider!

I'm REALLY hoping this trip can be worked out - how exciting!! And, I would like to place my order for a pin now! How much dinero and where do I send it?

i think it's a great idea and especially with a year+ to plan and save$$$'s. maybe i can even lose that last ten pounds by then!

of course, i have to get over the border first....

i've always wnted to see the grand canyon...can we go there?
