If you would have told me several years ago that you could have a close friendship with an online friend I probably would have been pretty skeptical. After spending time here at FC I see that online friendships can be just as meaningful as those we have with friends we physically see.
I do have e-mail and snail mail addresses for several friends here at FC and have uses both ways to let my FC friends know that they are special.

I stay in touch by e-mail. I have made some wonderful friendships here.

I do by E-Mail, Snail and phone. And I cherish my friendships. I use to pen pal via snail and got very close to some of them too and we talked on phone also. So I was prepared to "really like" the ones I met on here

I too have made many cherished friendships here at FC, we email off list and I actually got to meet LoriMae and her dh last year when she was in our area. We had lunch and I took them to one of my favorite thrift stores. LoriMae also had the chance to stop in our store and see what I had been gabbin about for so long . That was pretty awesome since she lives so far away. We've talked by phone several times since then. Oh and here is a picture of us taken in front of my house last year...

DeBora and I have a nice friendship going. She got me hooked on NASCAR.
We met because I needed some advice that I thought she could help with. She is a good listener and wasn't judgemental with the things we discussed.
I've got many other friends here at FC who I would trade for the world. Everyone is so great.

I have made some very special friendships on FC. We do keep in touch by email.
I did meet Debbie and her Family when they came to Florida a couple of years ago. My Mom & Sister enjoyed visiting with Debbie, her husband & children.
Donna has been a good friend too. She never forgets to send me a card for special occasions.

I have never been a Secret Sister but know they hold a special bond to each other which keeps them close.

In six years that I have been on FC there has been so many that you feel close to even though you don't keep in touch. I know they are there to share their lives with us every day which makes FC special.

Not long after joining here I made a couple of great friends, 1 passed away quite a while ago and the other is here but not on FC as much as she used to be we emaii and snailmail.
I have also made a couple of other friendships form ladies not been here as long, so much fun to have some one across the ocean to discuss things and crafts and, kids and and and......
Meeting I think I would have to wait to win lotto but I guess first you have to play lotto LOL

I've met a lot of nice folks in here, but I KIT with PC's... that's where most of my online friends are in here for now. I'm ceratin I know more folks, just haven't been to all the meeting places yet.

I think I have been a member for at least a year, and in PC swap for about 6 or so months.
