How-to: Changing Your Profile Picture

Do you have your picture all ready to upload? Remember it can be 100X100 at the most.

If it is ready, go to your User CP, select EDIT PROFILE PICTURE. Delete the current one if you have one in there (check the box).

Then use the browse box labeled UPLOAD A PROFILE PICTURE FROM YOUR COMPUTER. When you have located the picture you want, click SAVE CHANGES.

Now you might need to log out, clear your cookies AND refresh your browser (Control + Shift + refresh button on browser) in order to see your new picture.

Okay, I've done everything above and my new picture still isn't showing up on the threads but it is showing in my user cp??? Help!!!

Stacia, in your new picture, does it show a family of 4, boy in the front is wearing a shirt with white stripes? That's what I'm seeing.

Nope, that's not it, Barb. In the new one we're all wearing shades of green and I'm standing in the back.

Stacia, in the picture I see, everyone has green on. The boy in the front has white stripes on his shirt. The boy on the right has a lighter colored shirt. You are standing in the back.

Okay,Barb, this is weird!! I'm looking at the post I did right b4 yours and my computer is showing the old pic with me sitting in front with denim shirt on. ????? how weird is that?

NOW our new pic is showing up on my computer!! I'm offically confused!! OH well, at least it's there!!

Stacia, it's not weird at all....often the computer stores certain data about webpages and until it is "refreshed" properly, the old data will keep showing up.
