Fall Fashion Staples?

Okay Fall is not upon us and it is time to get out our coats, boots, sweaters, etc. I wanna know. What are your staple items for FALL and WINTER? Here is mine:

I have a good pair of black short boots (Easy Spirit so they are good for my feet and any major walking I would need to do but still cute)

PantsGood pair of Gap jeans and a pair of khacki Gap slacks boot cut. My slacks and jeans have to be boot cut hip huggers. Not real low rise ones but I hate pants that are up under my arm pits and I am so short waisted most pants are like this! )

V-necks :
Black is my color of choice but I do have a few white ones, red ones, blue, brown and most are ¾ sleeves.

Coats:
1 long wool black dress coat, 1 Aeropostale snow/ski jacket (that I got for $25 last season!!), black leather jacket and one long brown leather jacket.

Jackets:
Zipper hooded sweat jacket in grey, blue denim color one (but not denim), rain coat.

So what is your staples????
