Favorite Clothing Stores

Where do you like to shop for your clothes?

I do a lot of Thrift Store shopping but I really like Kohl's and JC Penneys clothes. I buy the "Sonoma" brand stretch jeans from Kohl's and they are so very comfortable!! I like to wear shirts with V necks; those look the best on me.

Hi Trainlady. I just bought three new sweatsuits at JC Penneys and a couple of V neck shirts at Kohls (Sonoma brand). V necks look best on me too. I'm getting rid of all my old, outdated, too small clothes and whittling my closet way down. A big, huge step in simplifying. Goodwill is going to be glad to see me coming!

Me too.

I like Thrift store shopping as well!! My last trip only cost me $11.00 and I got one short sleeve dress top, one v-neck long sleeve, my dh 3 pairs of shorts! WOW what a bargain!! And the shorts were Dockers!!!

I like Kohls, Target and when I have the month The Gap! The Gap's new stretch slacks are awesome if you can get them on sale!! LOL.

I love the Sonoma brand in pants...I'll have to get some of their tops. I could use some new sweats. My old ones are so comfy and lived in though. But they LOOK very lived in!! LOL!!!

Mercy, I haven't been clothes shopping in a long time. There are some clothes I've gotten at Fashion Bug when I can find it on sale. Now that I've retired I've been wearing a lot of sweats that I picked up at Walmart. Most of my major shopping is at thrift stores and garage sales. I hate to pay full price for clothes. lol

I'll have to say at J.C.Penney the other day they had this beautiful leather coat for $99.00 that it took all my willpower to walk past it to get my support pantyhose.

We just got a new Burlington Coat Factory.
I stopped in and was pretty impressed, a big store with lots of clothes, household goods, etc. Didn't buy anything, was really just checking it out.
I do think they should come up with a new name though..........
It's not just a coat store, LOL! And besides, we wear coats maybe two months out of the year here in Bakersfield!

Anyone else have/like this store?
Or any other new stores open in your area?

Kohls came to our area last fall.

We don't have a TJ Max or Burlington Coat Factory real close. The nearest ones are about an hour or more away.
