Do you have a favorite piece of jewelry?

What is it? Is there a reason as to why it is your favorite?

I have a Claddagh ring, too, Theresa. The story of your ring is much more special than mine, though. I bought my ring for myself. I hope to give it to my daughter when she gets older.

Tami that is so nice wanting to pass it down to your daughter...I think that is wonderful...

Mine would have gone to our oldest granddaughter Nicole but it will go to our granddaughter Baleigh...

Smiles & Hugs...

Tami I have a few favorites.......One of course is my wedding engagement set.I love it because it is a marquis cut diamond....and hubby choose it himself I had no say......I have been very fortunate to have many lovely pieces hubby has bought overseas.....I love my diamond and ruby puzzle ring he bought in Dubai, I love my tri gold necklace and bracelet set he bought in Kuwait along with a tri gold puzzle ring. I wear all the time my 10 year anniversary white gold ring with 10 diamonds. I also love my russian wedding band he got me in Macedonia....3 rings intertwined and you roll it on. I have many others he has bought overseas but those are my favs. I also have a large amathest pendant that my dads nanny from when he was little left to me..it came from England. I forgot my diamond earrings are pretty much always in my ears.....

Hugs debbie

Aside from my engagement, wedding and anniversary rings, I have several favorites. I love my mother's ring my dh bought me. I love the strand of pearls a dear friend bought me a couple years ago when he went on vacation. I love the gold chain that I wear my parents wedding rings on and I always wear my mother's engagement ring on my right hand. I have lots of other pieces that I love for many sentimental reasons. all have memories behind them.

I will only wear sentimental jewelry. On my hands, I have 2 rings that are mother's rings. One is my great-grandmother's mother's ring. The other is my grandmother's mother's ring. On my wedding ring finger, I have a 3 diamond ring that my DH gave me for our 25th anniversary. The diamonds signify past, present, and future. Then, my wedding rind is absolutely special. It has my DHs name carved in it on one side and my name carved in the other. DH also took it to melt down for a special ring to go with the diamond ring. Thankfully, he realized that this ring was special to me and he didn't touch it. I also have a birthstone, peridot ring that I got for my birthday many years ago.

Around my neck, I have a heart with Bobby's autograph and another heart that is a keepsake necklace. It has Jet-Bo's remains in it and his name is scribbled on it. There is a puppy paw print on it. I probably won't wear any other jewelry unless someone gives me something for a gift. Since I won't wear costume jewelry, I doubt that'll happen any time soon. lol

I wear a cross that I never remove (unless necessary), my late husband never knew what to purchase for me at Christmas, birthdays etc and Chirstmas 2001, he, on his own, bought my cross...I lost him 3 weeks later! This will go to my one granddaughter that he so adored, when I join him!
