Purses, How much would you spend?

I was watching 20/20 on Friday and they did a short story about purses. All the "designer" internet stores there are and how all they bought were fake but still priced over $1,000.00! I own 1 real Coach bag but it was in a friends moms throw away pile (can you believe that?) Other than that I have never spent over $40.00 on one. Target has good knockoffs.

What about you?????

I spend around $25.00 or less for a purse. I'm not into keeping up with trends. I buy what I like.

What about the rest of you???

I had been eyeing those Vera Bradley purses, you know the quilted ones in bright colors....they're so cute!

Then I found out that the one I liked cost $60. That is about twice what I would be willing to pay for a purse. I figured I'd put it on my "birthday wish list" or something.

A couple of weeks ago I was in Wegman's and they had "fake" purses that look almost exactly like the real thing. I found the size I wanted in the color I wanted--and paid $11.50 for it

A friend was telling me about purse parties. Some parties you can special order your purses. The cost was high. I don't think I have ever spent over $10 on a purse. I like the look of the purses for fall but I will not spend a lot of money on one. I have gotten great deals at thrift stores.
