swimsuits!!!

What type of swimsuit looks best on you for your body type?

Which stores do you have the best luck finding swimsuits?

Anyone bought one through a catalog? I like the looks of Lands End swimsuits but would want to try them on before buying so don't prefer to go the catalog route.......

Two pieces, for me, are out of the question!!!!!!!
The last time I wore a two piece was on our honeymoon, 12 years ago. I am now 30 pounds heavier (was 35 but have lost 5 ) and ALL of that weight is in my middle. I look at the pictures in magazines of swimsuits that will "slim your middle" but there is NOTHING that can cover this sack of potatoes I am, very embarrasingly. carrying around!!!

So, I am wearing my black one piece, with shorts over the suit........and maybe next summer I will be back down to my normal weight again!!

What kind of swimsuit do you have?

hugs,train

I don't own a swimsuit. Can't stand how I look in one.......too heavy and too white. I don't tan due to an allergy to the sun - have to use either a 50 or 75 SPF sunblock.

Had to have one 2 yrs ago when we went to The Schlitterbahn. So, I bought a dark green one piece and then wore shorts with it.

Where that suit is now is anyone's guess!

I bought a really cute floral tankini that is THIS color!!!!!
It's V neck, which looks best on me (as compared to scoop neck)
and covers the belly bulge which seems to grow bigger and bigger the older i get! LOL!!!!

Man, I had been wearing the same elasticless black swimsuit for the past decade!
It feels good to have found one that looks decent on me, well, for a swimsuit!

HAve you bought a new swimsuit?

hugs, train

No bathing suit looks good on me anymore, but I still dawn a one piece black suit occasionally when I attempt to beach myself. ;-)
