Grandson

This poem was written by our youngest GS last night, and I thought it was cute to share here. He just turned 6, and reads at a Grade 3 level.(brag, brag)Ice%20cream%20first[1].doc

I decided to just type it here:

Ice cream first, salad last,

I eat ice cream first and I eat salad last,
I eat dinner first and breakfast last,
I go to bed first and I go to school last,
On the calendar Saturday is first, Sunday
is last,
The word "future" means long ago, the past means some years ahead,
Since the words are forwards "forwards means backwards", You may not understand

Stekim, he tells me he is going to be a geologist, because he knows all you could possible want to know about volcanoes. If not a geologist, then a volcanologist. He absolutely floors me with some of the things he says. At 6 yrs. of age, he knows all of the countries of the world, and can point them out on a map, he reads everything he can get his hands on, and loves to garden and learn about flowers (like his GD) At 2 he knew the difference between coniferous and deciduous trees!!Brag, brag!

Happy face

He sounds like quite a smart child!!! Good for him - He will probably go far - When they are that young & have so much knowledge + they know what they want to do in life, that is definitely a thing to brag about!!! You deserve to be proud!!!

Missibob you should be bragging. Smart little man there. LOL I don't even know all the countries and for sure not where on the globe. I know all of you are proud of him.

That is so cute! He sounds really smart for 6 years old - none of my kids so far have been to that level at his age!
