I am so sorry that you are going through this, i agree with keeping the door locked and if he does by some chance get into the house, tell him its NOT a good time and to please leave, as you dont want any company at the moment.

The hidden camera is an excellent idea, but like the others have mentioned, that means letting him in, and thats the last thing you need.
I'm sorry that family members have laughed it off, its not a laughing matter, and hopefully nothing EVER comes of it, and he either stops coming over or stops touching himself, for your sake as well as theirs.

As for calling him on it, and asking WHY he is touching himself,if you see him doing it again, you could ask him if he needs to use the washroom and tell him its down the hall, and that way you have made him aware that you have caught on, and then maybe he'll get the hint.
Dont know what else to tell you, but trust your instincts and dont back down.
Good luck.

If the FIL is touching himself in front of her and in the past around the kids, what good would it do to confront him? he knows what he is doing and he is not discreet about it. Unless he just plainly stops, these actions could escalate. Even if family gets mad at her she needs to contact the police not try and risk her safety by putting up a hidden camera just to get him on tape.

Please call the police about this matter, then at least it will be on record.

Well said mom! I pressed charges against a family member a few years ago. I 'lost' family over it but I would rather be safe than have two faced liars as 'family'. I know my dd and I are safe.

Good for you Bluebird for taking that step a few years back, I am glad you and your DD are safe now.
