Theresa, that is a shame. Luke is 6 and we still have all his blankets (he got the most, for some reason) plus the ones from the bigger kids. Some blankets are quite little but the slightly larger ones get used every winter in the car, to cover up chilly kids. We also use them when he winds up sleeping on top of his bedcovers, and needs to be covered up quickly--that happens often. So even though he hasn't been in a crib for 5 years, those handmade blankets are still put to good use. And one pure white one that someone knitted for him gets used every Christmas in our church's Live Nativity, to cover up Baby Jesus (who sometimes is played by a girl, so we have to disguise the pink snowsuit--LOL!)
