Plans for Spring Break

Do you have special plans for the kids spring break? Our kids get out for a week the 2nd week of March. We may go for a day trip to a close bigger city to the Mall. Other than that will spend time just around the house.

Our Spring Break is the second week of April. We don't have any plans. Depending on the weather we may run down to the lake for a couple of days or do things around town.

plans for spring break

i am not sure when our spring break is but my dh and his db are taking a trip to florida for a week starting feb.27 and will be back on march 1 or 2. they will be driving to florida and then riding thier motorcycles for the week in Daytona. What do you think about this trip? is it right or wrong to leave the wives at home with not even a vacation planned for them.

Maybe you & sil could make plans to do some things togather that you wouldn't normally get to do with the men around.Maybe even manage to hit a favorite food place or rent a movie that you would both like that you been wanting to see.

Well it depends, did they consult the wives about the trip? When they get home maybe you and the sil can have a day doing things by yourself with the dhs watching the kids.

no they did not consult us, they just said we are going if you like it or not. in reguards to the sil going somewhere-- one of the sil lives in Florida and the other 2 live close but the problem is when we are one on one we get along but when all of us are together it doesn't feel the same we all have different likes and taste, and my dh sis acts totally different when we are all together anyway and she has a different personality when we are together.

Spring break is the first week in April here because of The Master's Golf Tournament. We continue to school through it. I don't see the point in stopping just because the public schools are out. We are required to school 4 & 1/2 hours a day for 180 days a year. We tend to school year 'round & report what's required of us. Oh the joy of homeschooling in Georgia.

I hope y'all enjoy your time with your family.

No kids here and no plans for spring break for us.We might head out to Winnipeg for a few days...check out the casino there...though neither of us gamble or drink...guess that wouldn't be much fun for us...We have friends in Winnipeg and I think that would be a nicer time for us...Going out to dinner and seeing a show would be nice...will have to wait and see what hubby's work schedule is like then...

Hope everyone has a nice Spring Break...

My Spring Break starts the 19th of March. I will be driving to Carlsbad so that DH doesn't have to drive. We will probably bring the GKs down and I will do a bit of hiding in the bedroom to get studying done since I have a major exam when I get back. I will be mostly playing with GKs though.
