chuckle Yu-Gi-Oh! (Educational and Fun!)

I wouldn't have believed it until I tried it myself, but my eldest son (Xander - 6), is really into the Yugioh card game, so as any parent does, I helped him along, bought a few packs and started him off. It has done him so much good! - He is much more for logical planning and thinking these days, his maths is incredible and he has started drawing and inventing his own cards with a miriad of details in their mechanics.

I thought that most collectable games were rubbish, and they rotted brains rather than nuture, but I admit I was completely wrong, there isn't a day that goes by where you can't find my son and I sitting down to a great duel monsters card battle.

Anyone else had similar experiences? - i.e. something you thought would be bad, actually turning out to be quite good?

Those cards are a really big hit here in the States too!

My two sons (ages 9 1/2 and 12) are really into them too....as are most of their friends.
