Bilby I was going to say pretty much the same as you did. I hope that woman got more than a slap on the wrist. I did not say Mother as don't think she deserves the title

I agree Patti, that woman isn't a mother.
That whole thing was sick.

Everyone needs to be very careful what they say on their pages. Nothing personal or private for sure. Nothing that could cost you your job or upset your neighbors or relatives.

Today I received an invitation to join Facebook as part of "Staying in touch" with my high school classmates. I am still thinking about it.

Joy, I have to day the best part for me about joining facebook is having old high school friends get in touch with me. I have been able to catch up with good friends whom I haven't seen in years (they live too far away to attend reunions). But I went to a very small high school and most of the kids I graduated with I had known my whole life so that might make a difference. We are now planning our 30th high school reunion. I think it would depend on how much someone liked high school and how close the class was whether it is worth joining just to catch up with highschool classmates but it is still great to keep in touch with distant relatives.

I started up my page because my friend Vicky asked me to, she was my only person for absolutely ages, every one else has found me from there, including my 2 cousins in another state.
I agree nothing to personal as that would go in a private email, for me it's just a prod to say, high how you doing don't forget about me LOL

I joined Facebook because a lady in an online prayer group I am in asked me to. I have mine set to friends only and a few other friends have found me, one was a good friend I went to high school with. Then her daughter wanted to be my friend too. She was a flower girl in my wedding 24 years ago and wants me to post a picture. I told her that I would when I found it.

Yes watch what you post and where you post!I recieved an annoying email today. I post on a few allergy sites. Somehow someone got my email. Do I know that the chemicals in household cleaners cause allergies? This person sells the best household cleaners in the market.... blah blah........ I will be blocking that sender! You would not believe the people who have mailed us, emailed us, dropped by our house with thier wonderful items to sell to help our dd. Some are really off the wall. I guess thier hearts are in the right place? I always read/listen because you never know if it could be a good thing....... but at times it drives me nuts.
