Do you Twitter, Blog, use Facebook, etc.?

I had a MySpace in 2007, it was more of a research study then an actual I used for personal/professional communications. I required the MySpace CO. to close it once other non-known people were posting garbage messages and pictures on my site, esp from people who A) didn't ask if I knew them or a mutual friend, and B) if they could post that garbage there. I do use Facebook (friends & Family), Yahoo Messanger (ocassionally), and Plaxo (Professional networking)...These are better filtered, and less daunting to use.

I have a My Space page and a Facebook page. I don't do very much and have both set up as private unless they are friends. I don't do very much on there. I started both as a means to keep in touch with family members. I have a classmates account too but will have to let that go by the wayside as I don't have the extra money for that now.

I have Facebook. I like it because I can keep track of friends and family and by my posts, they can keep track of me. You can now chat in a chat window there if you choose. I am usually too busy for that. Now Bobby is on there, so there's another reason for me to be on there. LOL

I have Facebook but I often forget it's there and don't update unless I have lots of time on my hands. I'm pretty basic there and don't do all the extras I know it has .... as some may have noticed LOL

Twitter I think is just a little to much information for my liking LOL

I have Facebook and I love checking family for current pics of all. A friend's new grandson was bortn with a severe heart condition and a blog has been set up to keep us all updated. I find the blog a wonderful tool. I can't see the point of Twitter, like who cares about someones every move.

I recently joined Facebook and haven't really found my way around it yet but some friends have found me there. One of them was a good friend from high school that I hadn't been able to find before because she has a common last name and had moved and neither of us were gold members on Classmates.

I am on Facebook but don't use it much;no photos and only have friends who have invited me! One reason for joining was to keep up with what the young people are doing - to keep my DS and DD safe online. My adopted sister (15yrs) was talking to a peodohile (sp?) who found out where she lived. The police got involved but she took some very personal photos because he asked her too. It bought all the nasty stuff too close to home so now I want to be on top of everything. Too many parents just don't know about this technology and don't bother to understand what their children are up too. I want to know!

I am gold member on Classmates as wanted to get in touch with some of my former classmates and now on Facebook but for sure don't know my way around it. And too my knowledge none of classmates are on it.
I hope your sister did not get hurt with that nut she ended up being in contact with

I have a two blogs and a facebook account. I am changing my blog to more of a crafy and food blog not social one. I am also thinking about making my blog private. Blogs here are for social purposes only and I am not comfy with that. Facebook here is the same way. I am thinking about removing some of the 'friends' Ifrom this community.


I am like Kathy, don't use my facebook much at all! Rarely do the extras.

My sister was very shaken as was my Mum and dad as they had no idea what was going on and the fact she had been taking risque photos and posting them. Unfortunately, as things have calmed down she seems to be going the same way again so this week I had a very serious chat with her (sounds awful but I hope I frightened her a little). Young people are so blase about social networking and don't see the harm that can happen.
