We have one drive-in theater within 30 miles from our home. We took the kids once last summer to experence it as we didn't think they would be around much longer. Their prices aren't as good as your's is as they charge the same price as matinee movies but kids under 3 are free and you can bring your own food to watch the double feature.
They don't show "family" movies very much so our going is very limited as the kids will be 4 & 10 next summer. I can remember as a kid going to the drive in (in my home town) several times a summer and they would have "car nights" where they just charged by the car not how many were inside. We would play in the playground area before the movies started.
