Thanks Barb.....It was so hard to get them as my camera has a very slow shutter speed for dark and if you move at all they blur and many times it did not catch the image.
Here are 2 more....

Great job, Deb!
I once took a photography class, and learned that the best way to photograph fireworks is to use a tripod for the camera. If you have a "bulb" setting on your camera (it holds the shutter open as long as your finger presses the button) use that. Hit the button when you see the fireworks and leave it open for a few seconds.
I got a few nice shots using that method. Took the whole roll to get 3 good ones but that's how it goes. Unfortunately those pics are not digital so I can't show them here. But I did enlarge and frame them, and have 3 of them displayed in my house.
Thanks for the tips......I knew a tripod would have gotten better results but I was just trying to play around with my camera. Had it for a year now and still so many bells and whistles I have not figured out. Maybe by next year I will have one?? I know what you mean about blowing off pics though. I was glad mine were digital so I could erase the 20 that did not turn out!!! LOL The kids wanted them so they could add them to their scrapbooks. I think we got a few nice ones that will do the trick!!!
Hugs Debbie
