This is dh best friend David way out on the edge of rocky cliff area called Jump Off Joe! Joe jump off.....Joe gone! It is a huge drop off! I love how my teeny little cheapo digital camera captured the sun rays! A few miles beyond the farthest mountain way out in the back ground is the Seattle area. This is west of my city.

This is the Jump Off Joe lookout tower. It hasn't been used since the late '70s for anything but parties! What a trashed mess inside! But behind this tower, there is a marker telling of a 23yo. His birthdate day he died and that his ashes were scattered over the edge in 1982 I think it was. He'd been killed in a wreck by Drunk driver.

The last scenic pic I want to post tonight is the trail that we were going on through the trees to get from the first pic to the tower in the 2nd pic! Parts of this trail were just wide enuf to squeeze the jeep through! I had quite a time manuevering over the huge rocks and limbs and stuff.

Here's the beach at Mukilteo on Puget Sound. We consider that "our" lighthouse! That's one of our WA State ferries just pulling out in the background.

This is Mt. Rainier, tallest mtn. in WA ( and an active volcano,) from the town of Enumclaw.

This is the Gray's Harbor Lighthouse over on the Pacific coast.
