German Style Pasta

1 cup uncooked rotini (3 to 4 oz)
2 tsp vegetable oil
4 cups shredded red cabbage (12 oz)
1 tbsp packed brown sugar
2 tbsp white vinegar
1/2 tsp caraway seed
1/4 tsp salt
freshly ground pepper

Cook and drain pasta as directed on pkg. While pasta is cooking heat oil in a nonstick skillet over medium heat. Cook cabbage in oil 2 minutes stirring occasionally. Stir in brown sugar, vinegar and carawy seed. Cover and cook about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally till crisp tender. Stir pasta into cabbage mixtutre; heat till hot. Season with salt and pepper.
