My DS Boo is going to be a First Grader!
The first day of school is August 13; this allows for 5 snow days. Last year we used them all and still had to make up a few.

DD1 will be in 2nd grade
DD2 will be going to Kindergarten
School here starts Aug 15. We went to school through June 5th due to 5 snow days & only 3 snow days built in last year. Summer really is getting shorter & shorter.

My youngest will be a 10th grader this year, so I am just about done with the school thing (except for college). It went really fast.
We start school on Aug 22 with no snow days built into schedule. We also have no long spring break so usually get out right around Memorial day if we don't have an extra large amount of snow days.
My grandson Alex is going into the 2nd grade...My granddaughter Baleigh is going into the 3rd grade and both grandson's Laucklan and Damien start Junior Kindergarten...school starts for Baleigh in September...and for the rest it starts the end of August...

DD1 will be a a senior this year. Because she has completed all of her graduation requirements early, she will be finished attending classes the second week of January.
DD2 will be a freshman in high school this year.
Our first day of school is Aug. 20th for the freshman. (They attend high school all by themselves the first day.) First day for the senior is Aug. 21st.
Our school district builds 5 snow days into its schedule, but generally there has to be more than 6 inches of snow on the ground before they call one. The last day of school is the Thursday after Memorial Day.
dd will be in 10th grade in high school this year .Ds is currently not going to college until he can save up some money so he can start back as he has done a few classes.
