BarBar, I think you already know this, but I started college in August of 2002. I have an AA in Criminal Justice. Then I got my BA in Psychology with a minor in Forensic Science. I am now in graduate school working on my Master's in Clinical Psychology. All I have left is a semester of practicum and my thesis.
BarBar, if you find yourself crying, banging your head against the wall, or wondering what the heck you got yourself into, it is completely normal. LOL I only have two words of wisdom for you. Start slow. There is nothing wrong with taking remedial classes, especially if you've been out of school for a long time. If you overwhelm yourself, you could set yourself up for failure.
I have decided to go back to school and finish my degree. My company that I work for will pay for it. So the money issue is taken care of. Now I just have to have the energy to do this.
Will start my courses in January. I had a hardtime getting my transcript from one of the colleges I went to over 20 yrs ago. I guess the lady didn't want to go thru old files. But the college I am going to now. Had me fill out paperwork and they sent stuff to the old college. With in 2 days they had my transcript. I mess around with this lady for 2 months.
I will only take 1 class at time. I work fulltime outside the home.
wishing every one a great semister, for myself I'm sitting out.
out of my 5 classes I made 2 "A's" and 3 "B's" and I never made that good grades in school for I was always a c or d student.
so I'm giving the glory to GOD.
and I thank everyone for the prayers they said for me during this time.
