Did you look forward to going back after a few years to see how everyone is doing

or did you walk away and never look back?

Where you involved in planning your reunion?

Maybe you were hard to locate and never received an invitation?

I've have missed all the reunion's my class has had as it seems its always on the same day as something else that I had plans to attend.The last one they had I found out after they had it.We had fourteen to graduate in my class so far we've lost at least four to cancer the last few years.

I was going to go to the 10th reunion until I was told to stay away from it because I was a divorced mom of 3...and it would be embarrassing for my ex classmates...So I stayed away...I don't think I missed out on much...

I went to my 10th year reunion and it was a total wipeout people acted so funny and didn't even speak just stared at everybody. Never again of course I graduated in 1962 so kids probably have a better time now than back then. I certainly hope so. They are planning the 50th for 2012 so maybe it would be better since we are all old people now. LOL

I've always wanted to go a reunion, but they always seem to be scheduled when I have other plans or lack of funds

Never went back and never wanted to. I had a good time in High School but never felt the need to go to any reunion. That was then and this is now........

I was talked into going to my 10yr reunion, but I really didn't enjoy it. Those who were snotty when we were in school were still snotty. Those who were social outcast were trying to show everyone they were no longer social outcast without success. Just kept asking myself why am I here? lol
BBB several of my former classmates had been married and divorced so it wouldn't have made any difference if you'd been in my graduating class. Don't understand why anyone would have asked you not to come, seems somewhat rude to me. Life doesn't always turnout the way we planned, and since none of us are perfect with perfect lives no one has the right to judge!

Yes I was blessed to be able to go to 25th, 45th and 50th and pray that dollarwise and healthwise I can go to the one next year. As soon as we finish one reunion the committee starts planning the next one. We have lost I believe about 13 of ours. I enjoyed my high school days and the older I get the more important my classmates mean to me. I got a call from one the 3rd of June and he told me the same thing. His dear wife is in early stages of Alzheimers so don't know if he will make it to next one or not. Another classmate just lost his wife last month and he too is in early stages of A== so honestly don't think he will be there. Sorry did not mean to ramble on

I graduated in 1960 & I went to my 45th reunion & really enjoyed it. I'm planning on going next year to my 50th. I have talked several times to a couple of my classmates on the phone & one of them has visited here in Florida. I'm still the same way as I was in school. My philosophy is this.. maybe you have a better way of life than me & more money, but that don't make you any better than me. If you don't like me,, well so what? Alot of people don't like me & maybe I don't like you either LOL.

Theresa, I've never heard of any class asking you not to attend because you were divorced. That was very rude of them.

I went to my 10 and, yes, everyone was exactly the same as how they were in high school. Went to my 20th and had a somewhat better time. We all met up informally at a bar on Friday night and that was great. But, Saturday night, at the actual reunion dinner, the fun faded. The venue was awful, the food average and the DJ kept playing songs from the late 80's instead of the early 80's when we were in high school. I had spoken to everyone I wanted to and was bored by 10:00 and finally realized, "Hey! I'm an adult and I have a car! I can actually leave!" And so I did. The talk for the 25th is a big picnic with families invited. Sounds good to me!
