Paige doesn't really "do" anything with her rocks, she just hoards them. lol She has boxes full of them. Everywhere she goes, she has to find a special souvenir rock to add to her collection. Sometimes when she is over here, she gets them out and spreads them all around her on the floor, once in a while she has to bring one over and show me it's special attributes!
Several years ago I had a couple of rather large, smooth rocks, and I had my two grandkids decorate them for me. They did a really good job and they have a special place in my garden.

The Taj Mahal is all marble, can you imagine the weight of it all and no modern cranes, and mechanical devices?

I am married to a geologist so you can imagine the number of rocks we have in our house. And because of their dad, my dks also collect rocks. I remember when we moved from our last apartment to our house, dh realized he was tired of carting boxes of rocks around so he took them and dumped them into our building's dirt parking lot. he know some kids would find them and think they were great treasures. My the end of the day, all the rocks were gone. I limit my rock collecting to tiny white rocks I collect at the ocean.
