Kid's Backpacks

I find it amazing how much clutter is in a kid's backpack. There use to be so much of a mess in my GS's backpack that he sometime had a hard time finding his school work. What a mess trying to find something! Now every Saturday each GS must clean out his backpack. By doing this it weeds out all the extra stuff they have accumulated during the week, which can be a lot of papers and things they no longer need for school assignments the following week. It keeps their school work organized for the next school week..........

I have the same problemn with my middle dd.My youngest is still using her backpack from preschool too.I try to clean it out when they get home from school though.

It's backpack shopping time again! We've already bought a small one for my DD but now we are on the search for one that my DS will like. Last year, he switched from the regular two-strap backpack to the rectangle shaped, one strap wear across your body, type. This worked out well for him.
