Barb--I agree is still important to go to your "good" students conference. Even though you might not have a lot to talk about with the teacher, it is good to show that your student has support at home. Sometimes I just like to hear that Dd or Ds is not a problem and then assure the teacher that they can contact me anytime if they ever feel they need to. Our school uses e-mail if parents provide addresses. I always tell teacher that can feel free to e-mail me anytime.
