Heres my plan:
DAILY:
6 grains
4-5 fruits
4 vegies
3 dairy
2-3 proteins
2-3 fats
1 potassium rich food
1 treat (sherbet or popsicle)
2 Coke Zeros MAXIMUM then lemon mint water and Crystal Light
Angel Food Cake on Sundays
and an icecream treat one time a month!!!
Thats my DASH diet/healthy eating plan!
I have NEVER been able to stick to a diet. Never. But at my last doctors appt I have high BP. I already had high cholesterol and 30 extra pounds. I have been on cholesterol medicine a year and it has worked. I really dont want to add more medicine so I asked my doctor to give me two months to try to lower my BP by diet and exercise.
Here I go yet again!!!!!!
