I have to comment to Barb here on adding a splash of juice to iced tea. I tried this and it's fabulous! I bought some Cranberry-Tangerine juice and topped off my iced tea glass with it and it's delicious!

Thanks so much for that tip!

Glad you like it, Amanda! That juice sounds like a great combination. I'll have to look for it when I go to the store next time.

We have been doing the Koolaid packets here lots of it as dh is trying to cut back on his Diet Rite soda... he thinks it may be part of the problem with his health and retaining so much water. I mix the cheap ahem not so cheap anymore at 22 cents a packet ( I remember when they were 5 cents LOL). Anyways I mix those with water and Splenda. We are almost out of Splenda as I forgot it at the store this week so I'll use regular sugar but only half the amount required should work out just fine.

I would think too the carbonated water you can buy if you mixed Koolaid packets with it, you could come up with some interesting choices.

As to tea, I don't drink it but I have a friend who is working on making up organic teas for craft season. One she borrowed some of my organic lavender buds to make up a Lavender Tea. I will have to ask her more about this the next time we talk so I can share some of her ideas with all you tea lovers out there.
