What is the Easter Bunny filling Easter baskets with this year?
Hippity Hoppity... Easter's on its way!
When the Easter Bunny visits your house this year, what will he leave in the Easter baskets? Will it be the same old stuff or do you have something new planned?
my kids get some choclate and then we always get them each new spring summer clothes......sometimes a new summer hat....they need them anyways so only makes sense to buy something they need

We do an egg hunt rather than baskets. Each of the kids will have a dozen eggs to find. It's color coded--Luke gets green, DD gets purple, Big DS gets speckled. They also each get a package of peeps.
I voted something else-only because we put just about everything on the list in the baskets-except money.
As my girls got older I added bathing suits to their basket of candy and toys. they in turn put clothes, coloring books/crayons and toys in with the candy. I usually try to send my gs's candy and clothes since I don't get to see them for Easter, I've already got huge suckers for each of my gk's in a different color.

Sense I have teenagers. I take a large bowl. I put a little bit of easter grass in it. I put fruit(apples, bananas, pears, oranges, etc.) in the bowl. Then I buy a small amount of chocolate or candy bars and add it with the fruit. That is our FAMILY easter basket. I usually give the girls each a $20 gift card to Barnes and Nobles. They love to read.
When I have all 4 kids at home and they were younger. I still did the Family basket. But then we would get the kids theme items. One year we bought everyone fishing rods, tackle boxes, etc. One year we spent less at Christmas and we gave them all bikes for Easter. Christmas is cold and snowing here so we thought Spring would be a better time for bikes. We have a pool so some years we would buy them all rafts and pool toys.
Well for me I put candy, gum, brush both tooth and hair (if needed) computer games for Steven and Adam, or DVDs couple dollars or so, this year I have bought Season 3 of Bones for Adam and a DVD of old TV show I think Judy will like. She gets diff things as she is not on computer like the boys. There will be choc candy, peeps, gum certain hard candies for Judy.

We do a chocolate bunny, jelly beans, M&M's, and malt balls. Then add a small toy like a wind up bunny or bubbles.
We also try to get a new church outfit.
