Frugal Easter backet fillers?

I'm making it a point this year to not fill my kids' baskets with lots of silly things that are directly related to Easter and won't be used after a day or so--you know the stuff....plastic toys, little rubber animals, plastic toys filled with candy...etc.

So far, I've bought some candy sticks and a couple of Pez dispensers that can be refilled. I'm planning on adding a couple of new coloring books to my dd's basket, some new barretts for her hair, and maybe a new book. That's all I can think of so far.

I'm still thinking of things for my ds's basket.

What are you filling your Easter baskets with this year?

I am a frugal queen.
I usually give chocolate that will last us through until parade time this summer to eat. I put about a half dozen of the more expensive candy in their baskets, also more personalized (each kids favorites). Then hide about 6 dozen eggs with the mini chocolate bars and money coins for the hunt.
In the basket the main focus is seeds. Seeds for the garden - each kids favorite and try to find something new we don't normally eat such as blue potota seed.
I also give flower seeds and a 6 pack of immature flowers that we can plant.
The baskets I usually use are really flower planters. I try to find something new each year for style; from window boxes, to those white urn style ones you see at the end of driveways, or even watering cans that have a large opening at the top. I also give a new pair of gardening and work gloves.
The kids plant their seeds and/or flowers in them that day/week and we allow them to establish and on Mother's Day we regift it to our grandmas in our life.

I try not to get too carried away with a "gift" so we don't lose the holiday's purpose and turn it into another commercial holiday. The seeds represent new life and the regifting their creations make them feel good about the gift.
